Poker Variants: Match Pot Games Variations
Poker Variants: Match Pot Games
These games use a different method of betting from normal poker. Before the first deal everyone puts an ante into the pot. Then each player must declare "in" or "out". Only players who are "in" are eligible to win the pot, but players who declare "in" and lose must each pay an amount equal to the whole pot into a new pot for the next deal. See Match Pot Betting for details and options.
The index below includes both traditional match pot poker variants and invented variants (listed in italics). The game types column shows other categories to which some games also belong. See also the full index of poker variants, which includes an explanation of the categories.
