Xbox Game Pass Loses Just One More Game This Month
Microsoft has announced the latest wave of removals from the Xbox Game Pass catalog, and thankfully for fans of the subscription service, only one more game is getting axed this month.
On January 31, Microsoft will remove Hitman: World of Assassination from the Game Pass catalog across cloud, console, and PC. That is the one and only game getting dumped from the library at the end of the month. This is something of a rarity.
Microsoft removed GTA V, Garden Store, MotoGP 22, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable earlier this month. With Hitman: World of Assassination heading out, that's a total of six removals for January 2024.
The next big release for Game Pass is the Pokemon-with-guns game Palworld, which launches into Game Pass on January 19. For more, check out the full rundown of all the games coming to Game Pass before the end of January.
A total of 14 games will be added to Game Pass during January 2024, meaning Game Pass will post a net growth of six games in January 2024. This is assuming there are no further additions or removals from the library to be announced before the month is over.
